I will wrap up Hubby's Birthday Weekend celebrations by sharing one last "recipe" (if you can even call it that). We kicked off the evening with a little Happy Hour on the back porch, serving some of his favorites: brie, goat cheese, and crackers. (Side note, have y'all had the Everything on a Cracker or the Rosemary Raisin Crips from Trader Joes??? Delish!!)

We pull out the special Happy Birthday plate a couple
times a year for the birthday boy or girl! |
Along side the appetizers we mixed up some Cape Codders. They are light, refreshing, and perfect for a warm summer evening.
Cape Codder
Ingredients:
- 4 ounces (1/2 cup) cranberry juice
- 2 ounces (1/4 cup) vodka
- 1 ounce (2 tablespoons) fresh lime juice
- (I prefer adding a generous splash of seltzer)
- ice
Mix ingredients well, serve over ice, garnish with lime or cranberries if desired. Enjoy!
Happy Happy Hour!
