Local Love: Bazbeaux Pizza

The other night I just simply didn't have it in me to make dinner.  So, Hubby was sweet enough to suggest ordering pizza from our very favorite Bazbeaux Pizza. It. is. delicious.  The crust is thin and the topping combinations are fabulous! 

We can never really decide on what to order, so we finally concluded to order a half and half pie.  The Quattro Formmagio is topped with Romano, cheddar, ricotta, mozzarella, provolone, bacon, and mushrooms and is one of our favorites.  (Think we like cheese?? Wait...that's five cheeses, not four...that's never occurred to me!)  We went with the Colossus (Hubby's favorite) for the second half.  It's topped with the works: pepperoni, sausage, ham, mushroom, red onion, green pepper, and black olives.

I've never had a pie from Bazbeaux that I didn't like, but in particular other pizzas we love are: BBQ (with either chicken or shrimp), Tchoupitoulas (shrimp, andouille, roasted red peppers, green peppers, garlic, and red onion), and Viareggio (tuna [yes tuna], white sauce, spinach, mushrooms, red onion, and garlic). They also have an incredible selection of vegetarian pizzas.  While you're there, make sure you don't pass up their creamy basil salad dressing.  You won't be sorry.

We typically do carry out, but instead started a fire and opted for delivery.  It arrived well within the time allotted and was still nice and hot.  When we do dine in, the warmer months are our favorite time to go as they have terrific outdoor seating options.

Now the weather just has to get a little warmer to enjoy the deck.  Until then Hubby and I will just have to settle on fireside dining at home.
