Repeat

Yesterday was a good day.  No, actually Friday and Saturday were both great days.  Years and years of hard work by some fine young men paid off with a second consecutive state championship.  I've known many of them since they were very young.  You have no idea how many hours they've spent on and off the court working toward this goal.

I'm not sure I would have predicted this the first few weeks of the season.  It was unquestionable as to whether they had the talent to repeat as champions. The question was whether the chemistry was there, whether they would be able to pull together as the family we talk about frequently.  We knew it would take effort from every single player on the team, top to bottom.  They did, and they succeeded.  Today, I'm pretty proud of them.
