DIY Monogrammed Pumpkin

I have a confession.  I'm a binge crafter.  I go months and months not crafting anything, but then the urge hits and I knock several projects out, only to again go into a drought again.  The crafts lately have been largely fall related...makes sense right??  Today I'm excited to share a little monogrammed pumpkin.  It was not my original plan for these little pumpkins, but I'm tickled pink with it!!

Spinach Berry Smoothie

When a friend told me about her love of spinach smoothies, I have to be honest, I thought she was a little crazy....until I tried one.  Below is my favorite version of one.  It's quick, simple, low in calories, and I usually have the ingredients on hand.....and no.....it doesn't taste like spinach.

Fall Bucket List

The weather here has cooled slightly, the leaves are just starting to turn, and the calendar will officially say Fall this week.  Over the weekend I set out some fall decorations and put up this season's bucket list.  I made it first, and then realized I wasn't sure where I was intended on hanging it (fail).  However, all worked out, as I ended up hanging in the kitchen and hanging the bucket from the pot rack.  The whole thing came together easily, and will simply serve as a reminder to do the little things that make the change of seasons fun and special.

Six Blissful Years

Six years ago today Hubby and I said "I do"!  Biased though I am it was a gorgeous September day with a traditional Greek service surrounded by those we love most, and then dancing the night away.

Dancing Makes the Soul Happy (Especially Greek Dancing!)

I love to dance....any kind of dancing, but especially traditional Greek dancing.  I have danced at church since I was a little girl.  Luckily my church has an adult dance group that I joined a couple years ago.  Our instructor was a member of a professional performance group in Greece and he is kind enough to instruct the group once a week.  It's the highlight of my week.

We have learned dances from the different Greek regions and have performed at various festivals around Central Indiana.

Everyday is 'Thersday!

These guys are still keeping me busy!!  We had a pretty successful 8 team invitational.  The competition is tough and the day long, but we came out on top. (As did our #2 and #3 singles players.)  I couldn't be happier for this team.  Not only are they a talented group of players, but a really nice group of young men.  I've said it once, and I'll say it again....I'm a lucky girl.

Let's Go 'Thers!!

In My Lunchbox, Salad in a Jar Edition [Southwest Salad with Cumin Cilantro Vinaigrette]

As y'all know, I love to pack my lunches for the week all at once.  I'm simply not disciplined enough to do it every night (or that morning).  The bento boxes have been a wonderful help with that, but I do love a salad for lunch, too!  Rather than having to worry about the dressing leaking, the lettuce getting soggy, or both, I pack the entire thing into one of my beloved Ball jars.  It works like a charm.
