Five on Friday ['Tis the Season]

Happy first Friday of December!  I love everything about the Christmas season, and have spent this week getting the hive ready to celebrate and enjoy the entire season.  So without further ado, here's this week's Five on Friday.

ONE
Every year the day after Thanksgiving Hubby and I put up the tree and reminisce as we unwrap our beautiful ornaments from our loved ones and tennis family.  The ornaments from our ornament wedding shower hold a very special place in our hearts.

TWO
Speaking of Christmas trees, I did a little DIY embellishment to our tree skirt to dress up our tree before putting the gifts under it.  I'm tickled pink how it turned out! (Although I'm still leaning towards adding a little monogram to it....just can't decide.)

THREE
We've been counting down to Christmas with our printable countdown.  Just pop it into a frame and update daily using a dry erase marker on the glass.  Simple as can be.

FOUR
And in trying to relish and take in every moment of the season we have been checking off the items on our Activity Advent Calendar.  Just a little excuse to pause and enjoy being together during this hectic and sometimes hurried time of year.

FIVE

Although this isn't holiday related at all, someone mysteriously changed the wallpaper on my iPad this week.  It was a much needed reminder and was such a fun surprise.  It also makes me smile every time I see it, so it's staying, at least for the time being.
