Five on Friday [7.14.17]

Happy Friday!!  While I'm so happy that it's Friday, with each passing one I'm again reminded that the end of summer is near.  I'm quite simply not yet ready to go back to school.  But until then, I'm holdin on tight....

ONE
Hubby and I celebrated his birthday last night with a quiet dinner at home.  I tried to talk him into going out, but as the thunder boomed and the streets flooded with all the rain, we were quite happy with our decision.  It's just as the saying goes...I love him more than yesterday, but not as much as tomorrow.

TWO
The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale started yesterday, too.  I snagged some good deals and shared some of my wishlist items, but am kind of kicking myself for not picking up this Mac Look in a Box deal....although the sale's not over yet....

THREE
If you haven't yet tried Ina's Fruit Salad with Limoncello you should!  So. very. yummy.

FOUR
It's been an exciting week for our tennis program.  One of our players competed at Wimbledon!!!  We really couldn't be more proud.  Pretty incredible.  Federer played some incredible tennis the other night, too.  Anxious to watch some over the weekend.

FIVE
This is about the only other plan on my agenda....

Wishing you a Happy Friday and a
wonderful weekend!

Today I'm linking up with April at Smidge of This

and Katie from Cup of Tea.

  1. The fruit salad looks so yummy! And I really need to get on this Nordstrom train. We do not have one close by so I never shop there. I am seriously starting to think I'm missing out. Glad you all enjoyed a birthday celebration in! Happy Weekend!

  3. That fruit salad looks so good! Such a great summer dessert! I'm all about your weekend plans of sitting by the pool with a book and a cold drink! Hope you got to enjoy yourself. That's amazing that one of your players played at Wimbeldon! I played on my high school tennis team and recently played in a women's league after a very long hiatus. I stopped about a year ago though and should look into joining up again soon!
